Agriculture has been one of the foundations of modern society. By being able to grow our own food supply, the growing and yielding of crops allowed villages to be established. India's diverse climate ensures availability of all varieties of fresh fruits & vegetables. Though most of us may not be aware, but agriculture has also improved both in technology and as a craft. From modest farmers with small crop fields, we now have equipment that can make and harvest crops 10 times faster than before. A lot of the food we enjoy today wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for dedicated agricultural companies ensuring the best products.
Srinivasa Farms spent a lot of time understanding both the challenges faced by the Indian farmer and those faced by the discerning Indian consumer with an appetite for fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables. By applying several management techniques to improve current agricultural practices, our Agri business is a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern science. We know the importance of eating fresh, natural and healthy food. Which is why all our produce is free of chemicals, artificial fertilizers/pesticides and GMOs - we use only organic inputs from seed to harvest.
It takes approximately 2 years of soil preparation to ensure that it is fully chemical-free before commercial organic production can begin. Each farm is a raised unit surrounded by a moat that harvests the surface runoff from irrigation or rain. This raises the water table and reduces the frequency of irrigation to once a week. A bore well recharge system ensures water supply even in the dry season and all farm waste is composted.
Today our farms, spread across close to a fifty acres around Hyderabad, boast of many local and exotic varieties of fruits, vegetables and greens, grown using world-class techniques and chemical-free inputs. Since they are all grown in our farms, we are able to maintain high standards of uniformity & consistency in taste, colour, texture and finish.
In the spirit of giving our consumers the freshest produce possible, we are committed to delivering our produce - from our farm to you - on the same day as harvest.
We understand our consumers' need to see exactly where their produce is coming from. Soon you will be able to visit our experiential farm and see high-quality organic production for yourself, right from seed to harvest. You can Come and spend a day at our picturesque farm and see the organic inputs we use, learn about our chemical-free production techniques and pick your own produce. You will soon be able to contact us to book ahead of time.
